If you’ve ever visited a dollar store, you know they can have great deals. Luckily, online dollar stores are readily available too.

When you shop at online dollar stores you can get great deals right from home. Shopping at dollar stores can be a great way to free up extra money each month.

These popular online dollar stores boast some of the best deals online. Check them out and see what you can find.

1. Dollar Tree

The Dollar Tree is likely one of the most well-known online dollar stores. It was founded in 1986. They do have over 15,000 locations around the world. However, their online shopping website lets you save from home.

If you choose to have your online order shipped to your local Dollar Tree store, there’s no shipping cost. However, if you choose to ship it to your home or business there are shipping fees.

Dollar Tree also has a loyalty club called the Value Seekers Club. Value Seekers Club members get perks such as:

• Exclusive ideas and inspiration
• Members only contests
• First-to-know offers
• Affordable recipe ideas

And more. You have to be 13 years or older to join the Value Seekers Club. You can register online at the website.

2. Hollar

Hollar is an online retail store that has items for $1 and up. When I looked at their online store I found dozens of items that sell for just $1. Here are some examples:

• Kitchen accessories
• Electronics accessories such as cell phone holders
• Stickers
• Party supplies
• Cleaning supplies
• School and office supplies
• Craft items
• Toys
• Pet items
• Health and beauty items

And more. One great thing about Hollar is that they offer free shipping for orders over $25. In addition, they have a clearance section that offers some items for under $1.

I’d suggest taking a look at the clearance section every time you shop there. They have some great deals.

3. Dollar 1

Dollar 1 buys liquidated products from some of the U.S.’s largest retailers. They sell items for $1 and up. Some of the $1 items for sale on the site when I checked included:

• Toys
• Health and beauty items
• Hair accessories
• Jewelry
• Craft supplies
• Household items
• Kitchen accessories

And more. Note that this site sells primarily liquidated items. This means that if you see something you like on the site you should buy it quickly.

They typically don’t have the same items in stock over and over like other dollar stores might.

Bonus: they have other higher priced items that are really great deals too. So be sure to check out all of the deals at Dollar 1.

4. DHgate

DHgate sells items directly from China. This means you can get great deals on a lot of stuff without the middleman markup.

They have a lot of different things for sale at various prices. All that I found are priced well below retail. However, they have a lot of $1 items too, as well as many items priced well under $1.

Here are some ideas of the $1 and less items I found on the site:

• Makeup brushes and makeup
• Home accessories
• Fashion accessories
• Party supplies

And more. Note that with a lot of these items, you’ll need to buy large quantities to get the lowest prices. DH Gate gives discounts for buying larger quantities. Also, they only sell products from companies that pass their certification standards.

As far as shipping costs, they’ll vary depending on what you buy. However, I did notice that some items qualified for free shipping.

5. Dollar Fanatic

Dollar Fanatic is known as the first $1 only online store. They have an offline store in Illinois now, but still function primarily in the online market.

When I looked at Dollar Fanatic’s online site they had some great stuff there. Some of the offerings they had at this writing include:

• Tools
• DVDs
• Comic books
• Party supplies
• Cleaning supplies
• Toys
• Accessories

And more. One other cool thing about Dollar Fanatic is that if you buy 10 things, you get your 11th thing for free.

Shipping at Dollar Fanatic costs a flat $4.95 for all orders under $50. If you spend $50 or more you get free shipping.

Bonus: Dollar Fanatic has another tab on their site for deeply discounted items that cost more than $1.

6. H&J Closeouts

H&J Closeouts sells liquidated items, but they also have a section devoted to $1 items. Their dollar store section features items for $1 and under.

Some of the types of things they sell in their dollar store section include:

• Wedding and other party supplies
• Pens and pencils
• Stickers
• School and office supplies
• Home and holiday decor
• Hats, jewelry and other accessories
• Electronics accessories

And more. This is a good place to go if you are looking for bulk events. Let’s say you want items for a large gathering for business or charity. There are lots of good giveaway items here.

As with other liquidators, you need to grab items when you see them. Otherwise they might not be available. Also, most everything at this online dollar store is sold by the case or other large quantity.

7. Dollar Store

The Dollar Store sells items for $1 and up. On this site, I found $1 items such as over-the-counter medicines, hair accessories and more.

They also have kitchen accessories and cleaning supplies. Toys and party supplies are also available at times on this site.

The health and beauty items they sell include name brands such as Crest and Gilette.

Know that there is a $25 minimum order on this site. However, all orders offer free shipping to the contiguous United States.

8. Dollar Days

Like some of the other sites mentioned here, Dollar Days sells products wholesale. It’s for this reason they’re able to sell products for a dollar. Many products even cost less than a dollar.

For instance, Dollar Days had high quality toothbrushes for 24 cents each at this writing. Some of the other items that for sale for $1 or less included:

• Healthy and beauty items
• Electronics accessories such as earbuds
• School supplies and office supplies
• Baby supplies such as wipes
• Clothing and accessories

And more. Note that you do have to buy most items in bulk to get the best deals on prices. And while there is no membership, you do need to create a free account to order.

Orders of under $100 cost $9.95 shipping plus a $3.98 handling fee. Orders over $100 cost roughly 10% of the order total to ship. These shipping rates are for the contiguous U.S.

If you are shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, shipping rates increase to 45% of the order total.

9. Miss A

Miss A is an online dollar store that sells makeup and accessories. Note that some prices are higher than a dollar. The site has a wide variety of $1 makeup and accessory items such as:

And other items. Another interesting note about Miss A products: they’re all manufactured cruelty free. Nothing they sell is tested on animals.

If you order over $35 worth of merchandise, Miss A will ship your order for free. This applies to the contiguous United States only.

Shipping costs on orders outside of the contiguous United States range from $9.95 to $49.95.

10. Dollar General

Dollar General was founded in 1939 under another name and switched their name to Dollar General in 1968. Suffice to say they’re the oldest dollar store around.

They have nearly 15,000 store locations throughout the United States. Dollar General sells all of the typical items most other dollar stores do. However, they do have prices higher than $1 on some items as well.

Dollar General carries healthcare items, beauty items, school and office supplies, pet items and more. They offer free shipping on orders over $50

11. Five Below

Five Below offers items that never sell for more than $5. They have lots of items that sell for $1 too, and some for even less than $1. Some of the items you can find for $1 or less include:

Depending on when you shop, you may find $1 or less items in other categories too. However, you can find great $1 to $5 items in all categories. Shipping and handling fees vary based on how much money you spend on your order.

In addition, Five Below has a $10 minimum order requirement. Orders of less than $10 won’t be accepted.

12. Oriental Trading

Have you ever shopped at Oriental Trading? I used to do quite a bit of shopping there when my four kids were little. Why? Because they have amazing prices on a lot of stuff.

Oriental Trading sells items such as:

• Party supplies
• Holiday supplies
• Toys and games
• Craft supplies

And more. Many of the items they sell go for well under a dollar each. However, you should note that you do have to buy many items in bulk.

Their bulk items, however, don’t mean that you have to buy items by the hundreds. Instead, they sell smaller bulk quantities. For example, you can get 42 mini candy bars for $6.19.

This equates to a price of just under 15 cents each. Oriental Trading is a great online store to shop at for parties and general kid entertainment. Shipping is free on orders of $49 or more.

Are All Online Dollar Stores the Same?

As I did research for this article, I did find other stores that claimed to be online dollar stores. However, most of them had some caveats that made it tough to get good deals.

Some stores only allowed other companies to buy from them. Other stores had online sites, however you couldn’t shop online. Instead, you had to go in-store to get your items.

You could look at what they offer online, but all shopping had to be done in-store. And still other stores said they offered low prices, however I didn’t find anything for sale as low as $1.

When searching online for dollar stores, be aware of the fine print. Look for shipping prices, bulk buying requirements and other details.

Then decide whether or not the store has items you could save money on. For instance, if you own a small business you might benefit from buying some items in large bulk quantities.

Or, if you have large family or friend gatherings during the year, some of these higher quantity deals might be great for you.

Other stores might not offer prices as low as $1, but they still might have some great deals on items you use every day. Shop wisely in order to find the best deals for you and your family or business.
