Do you like to visit museums? If so, you may have heard about a Bank of America program called Museums on Us. If you haven’t heard of it, read on!

This program can give you access to hundreds of museums across the United States. Here’s some information about how the program works and how you can qualify for it.

What is Bank of America’s Museums on Us?

Bank of America’s Museums on Us is a program started by Bank of America (BOA for short). BOA is a big believer in the arts.

According to their website, they believe that the arts “help economies thrive, help individuals connect with each other and across cultures, and educate and enrich societies”.

Because of their strong belief that the arts make the world a better place, BOA has created a program that allows its cardholders to visit museums across the country for free.

There are some stipulations to the program, such as the following.

  • Free admission only applies on the first full weekend of each month
  • Only the cardholder gets free admission; any non-cardholder guests or family members must pay the regular entrance fee
  • The program includes general admission only, and doesn’t include access to special exhibitions, ticketed shows or fundraising events

Even with its stipulations, Museums on Us program is a great deal. Here are the remaining dates the program is available for the year 2018.

  • August 4th and 5th
  • September 1st and 2nd
  • October 6th and 7th
  • November 3rd and 4th
  • December 1st and 2nd

So, if you visit your favorite museum on one of these weekends you could get in for free.

Remember, though, that you have to be a Bank of America cardholder.

Note: Merrill Lynch debit and credit card holders qualify too, since BOA is Merrill Lynch’s parent organization.
